What is the best antidepressant out there for panic attacks?
Question: I go to my doc who wants to put me on Zoloft antidépresseur.Il put me on I do not tolerate well at all. He likes me to input into things, and I would get an idea of what antidepressant for my panic attacks would be. It would of course make the final descion, but he did ask me opinion.Tout expierence there?

My experience with doctors and medicines has not been good. So I can not be what you want to hear. . . then again I could be who you want to hear. Depends if you want to be good or addict and the rest of your miserable life. You should contact Dr. David Burns. He recently completed a book on panic disorder. I read his book “The Feeling Good Handbook” that cures my depression, while four doctors, six therapists, and at least 10 different medications did nothing for me. I have severe panic attacks, antidepressants are of no use. You need a tranquilizer, I’m on Ativan and it is such a help. I had done all antidepressants. Depression and stress are two different things.

I take Lexapro daily and Xanax in situations that I know could cause a panic attack. Lexapro works great, but I have the Xanax to more difficult situations. If you are perscribed Xanax or something like that, be very careful because the drug is likely. Good luck!
