Lexapro can help you, it has virtually no side effects. Bring this with your DR.
Trazodone, but to find the problem and overcome it works much better.
Zoloft, it works for me. I am 75 mg. Talk to your doctor.
From my own research, Paxil is the best for panic disorder. It is also used for social anxiety disorder.
Sugar, chocolate or candy while, just to make you do not over eat. It will make you calm. Do not take it as an antidepressant.
I would try Zanax. Take a few minutes to work. But do ask your DR. what is best for you!
I suggest you honestly tell your doctor all your symptoms and problems. You should not suggest to your doctor about medications. You should listen to his advice – not people on the Internet that do not have medical degrees and have not seen your medical history. There are many good drugs and drug combinations for panic disorder. I am sure that your doctor can find the best for you. Sometimes it takes several attempts before you are satisfied (no side effects). This process is normal.
Theres more. . . and really all just depends. The effects of a medication (Zoloft, Paxil, Prozac, Lexapro, Welbutrin Zyban Aka … … Etc, etc, the list still is) to anyone who is certain ranges so its kind of a riddle Thurs For me, none of the answers so far, but Elavil and Trazadone are good and they are antidepressants, but they make you drowsy. Although I do think that things really well because you are being weaned from xanax now. Elavil (amitriptyline) and trazadone are inexpensive, but they are older drugs and may be difficult to get a dr to prescribe because they tend to prescribe newer, with fewer side effects. Good luck
Xanax is a trnquilizer. Paxil is an antidepressant used for panic disorder. Frankly, I used to have severe panic disorder and I was greatly helped by a program from the Midwest Center panic and depression. It is by Lucinda Bassett, who was also a former patient of depression, panic /.
