I do not want to take drugs if I was. They are only for extreme situations like if you were hospitalized for a nervous break down. You should know this by now, if you've been taking them for a year with no effect. Try something like yoga, meditation and natural medicines

Listen, I will suggest a drug, but I have a couple of things to say that you will like. Because the drug is not always réponse.Vous may need to take medication against social anxiety, but by all means, do not take short-acting drug such as Klonopin, Xanax or adivan. You will become dependent on these drugs. If you need to try a drug Seroquel XR (extended release for you to relax all day) You knock each time you take them for the first week or two, but after that it helps a lot. Stick to a medium dose you do not want to end a zombie.Voici few tips:-The more you expose yourself to social situations, the more they become to treat. You'll be a little less anxious to each fois.-Do not bail out, quit, or stay at home because it will only aggravate the problem. [In contrast to the therapeutic effect of exposure. ] Finally, the emotions come in waves. You need to jump in, stop thinking so much and wait for the wave to pass. They always do. Good luck. You have one life to live.

Hi Victoria-Sometimes, medications can not fix the panic or anxiety disorders all on their own. Have you tried working with a therapist? Usually, a combination of medication and therapy work better. Several times, the therapist will co-manage patient care with a psychiatrist (an MD) so that both needs are met. The MD can prescribe medication and that you and your therapist can work on getting you immune to anything that triggers your anxiety and crises panique.Un word of warning - some people rely on a class of medications called benzodiazepines to treat anxiety and panic attacks. Stay away from these - they are very addictive and they did not address the problems. They simply hide feelings of anxiety and panic. They also have heavy side effects. Some common examples of benzos would Valium, Xanax or Ativan.J hope that this information has been helpful and I wish you all the best. I have great personal and professional experience in this field (a family member who has the same disease) and I know how debilitating the constant anxiety and panic can être.N do not hesitate to click on my profile and then choosing the link e-mail if you wish to correspond privately outside the council. I'd be more than happy to talk. Hang in there! Doc Calypso
