I was dx with an anxiety disorder and panic attack too. For me, anxiety is the nervousness of every day worrying that is manageable to some degree with medication. I take 150mg Effexor XR. Panic attack is when I am touched by the irrational fear that I die because of the sudden appearance of an intense feeling of not being able to breathe, sweat, tension, feeling like you're outside oneself, etc. usually last about 10 minutes (if it feels), but disappears just as quickly. I take Xanax (alprazolam) for panic attacks. Fortunately, the effexor has reduced my panic attacks, I have not had my script filled at 8 MOS. Hope this helps.

Although panic attacks usually occur in all different types of anxiety disorders, there is a clear difference between anxiety and panic. The difference lies in the duration and intensity of symptoms. Panic attacks are episodes of intense fear that only lasts a short time. On the other hand, anxiety is more gradual, less intense and lasts longer.

If you are with someone you trust who tell him of a year do suffer in silence, tell them before you leave if you can tell them "IM look with a panic here," What is that 'they can do for you may be talking quietly to help you take deep breaths, count to five years left, so do the excersise etc, it really helps, because you good! cannot think at this point right when in a panic year, hope that this advice is useful, I wish you all good luck for the things he truly scary, but everything will be fine, but let yourself be seduced replaced, to defend one's cases per day of "theft" fight flight flee feel like I did........ you sure know real now you can do xx tc

I believe that anxiety and panic attacks are one and the same, although I am np medical expert. I think the level and the symptoms can vary from person to person. classic symptoms are rapid heartbeat, sweaty palms, difficulty breathing, extreme agitation, fear, and heaviness in the chest. Why not see a doctor, or if they are manageable, try to breathe deeply, exercise, and especially anything that calms you. I hope this helps!
