How long can panic / anxiety attacks and lasts is that normal?

Question: Lately, I’ve been waking up at 1:30 in the morning at least twice a week in panic or anxiety. My heart beating fast, sweating terribly, sensing an impending disaster, the intestines out of control and feels like my skin has a rash or a burning sensation. They are durable severely for about 4 or 5 hours, then tapper off all day. Help please.

ok first of all DO NOT go to the first site that was posted. . . It does make you more anxious. I have an anxiety disorder that I know. . . you will find a horrible disease that sounds like and insist that you have. In any case, depending on the attack, it can last as long. If you do not take steps to calm down once it started, they can last longer. Are you on any medications or eating lots of caffeine or sugar? This could trigger it. Seriously, you should see your doctor, there are things that can give you to help me, I’m not saying that drugs are the answer, but when a panic / anxiety attack happens as it is best to consult a médecin.Ces attacks vary from person to person no 2 are the same people at least that’s what I said

Panic attacks do not usually last long or you wake up in the middle of the night. I think you should see a doctor about these symptoms.

Patti (1 response) may be right, but let me add a few things to make you feel better: panic attacks usually occur during the hours you are éveillé.Cauchemars occur when you sleep, and they happen for a reason. Something in your mind (maybe something that is difficult for you to address while you are awake, but its going to have to be examinées.Gardez a notebook and pen / pencil beside your bed. When you you wake up in a panic, record all the details you remember (you’ll be amazed what you can to mind after an experience like that!). Finally, you will find a consistent relationship formed through these nightmares . At this stage, it might help to talk to a trained Jungian ‘Dream therapist. “This person is trained to help you understand what the images mean to you, which is at the heart of your feelings UN-time facile.Au when you reach this stage, you’ll have a good idea of what it is that worries you, and it won”t be too difficult to consider and resolve. And you’ll learn more about yourself – and sleep during the nights again!
